Thanks to the 2016-2017
wettest winter in over 100 years, California's reservoirs are in good shape. Right now, however, 2017-2018 is looking like
another dry winter.
At the start of the week, statewide snowpack averaged just 30 percent of normal for the date, not far from the 25 percent logged at the same time in 2015, a record-low year.
I don't regret
re-sodding in October. Water restrictions will occur in 2019 at the earliest, so I'm going to enjoy the color of green while I can.
