New Life from the Soil

In Hawaii the flora sprout rapidly. The bananas weren't there when I visited earlier this year. Meanwhile, there are mango, guava, and papaya to tide us over.

I walked across the street to get a closer look. The monkey pod has grown appreciably since it was trimmed back two years ago.
