The Ineffable City on Seven Hills

San Francisco's problems are so overwhelming that we can forget why we moved here in the first place.

"Dance of Dreams," a 7½-minute film by the San Francisco Ballet, reminds us of its beauty.

Choreographed to Bernard Hermann's score from Hitchcock's Vertigo, a production that combines a world-class ballet company, famous landmarks, and music from a 1950's iconic film could only have been made in a handful of cities in the world.
